Franklin North Campground

The W.P. Franklin North Campground in the Lake Okeechobee area of sunny Florida is popular with vacationers because of its natural beauty, proximity to wide variety of exciting activities and well-maintained facilities. Water is everywhere, from the Caloosahatchee River surrounding the property to nearby Telegraph Creek that provides opportunities for exploring back-country swamps by canoe. Expect to see indigenous wildlife such as colorful tropical birds and alligators.

Visitors will find 30 tent and RV campsites equipped with water and electric. All sites are waterfront. W.P. Franklin North also features eight boat sites for guests who wish to sleep aboard their boat while taking advantage of campsite amenities. A fishing pier and a boat ramp are located onsite for your convenience. First come, first served campsites are available.
